Kentucky’s Next Premier Sporting Event Tees Off July 10–13 at Hurstbourne Country Club
Louisville, KY (May 1, 2025) – As Kentucky welcomes the world for the 151st running of the Kentucky Derby, the ISCO Championship team joins the celebration, extending best wishes to Churchill Downs, the Thoroughbred industry, and everyone involved in this iconic tradition.
“The Kentucky Derby captures the imagination of the world and showcases the very best of Kentucky,” said Jimmy Kirchdorfer, Chairman and CEO of ISCO Industries and Tournament Chair of the ISCO Championship. “On behalf of our entire team, we wish Churchill Downs and all participants a successful Derby Weekend. It’s an incredible celebration of our state’s culture, heritage, and hospitality.”
As Derby festivities unfold, attention will soon turn to Kentucky’s next marquee sporting event: the ISCO Championship, a PGA TOUR event set to make its Louisville debut July 10–13, 2025, at the prestigious Hurstbourne Country Club.
“The Derby is a global tradition, and Louisville knows how to deliver unforgettable experiences,” said T.R. Hollis, Tournament Director of the ISCO Championship. “We’re excited to continue that momentum this summer by welcoming the best in professional golf to the heart of the Bluegrass.”
The ISCO Championship promises world-class competition set against Kentucky’s scenic beauty, paired with signature Bluegrass hospitality. The tournament will offer not only elite golf but also family-friendly experiences, entertainment, and a strong focus on community involvement.
“For all of us who call Kentucky home, Derby week is a source of pride and celebration,” said Eric Wood, Co-Chair of the ISCO Championship Committee at Hurstbourne Country Club and former All-Pro center for the Buffalo Bills. “It’s an honor to be part of a growing tradition of major events that highlight everything that makes this state so special. We can’t wait to build on that energy and create new memories at the ISCO Championship in July.”
